Property Advisor
- Salary range - £35,000-£45,000
- Full time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

The Role
Working within the central trust team, the Property Advisor will possess a ‘customer’-centric approach, supporting schools within the MAT in the development and management of school premises. This newly-created role will have the ability to influence decision making in schools, providing an opportunity to be instrumental in the delivery of high-quality learning environments for teachers and pupils that are both safe and sustainable.
This is a full-time permanent role, reporting to the trust Buildings Officer. The role is based at the Diocesan Office in Ipswich but with a good deal of travel amongst the schools. A degree of hybrid working is expected.
Key Responsibilities
- monitor the condition of schools
- manage maintenance works and capital projects
- develop relationships with approved contractors
- support schools to manage safe, compliant and suitable premises
- report on school and estate level maintenance requirements
Required Skills and Experience
The post-holder will have experience in the specification, design and management of building works in non-domestic premises. They will be used to managing the relationship between contractor, technical advisors and end-user.
- Experience of construction project management
- Excellent interpersonal and team working skills
- Initiative and problem-solving skills
- The ability to travel regularly throughout Suffolk
